Daily Schedule

Each day at the Oxford Summer Music Institute is filled with creativity, collaboration, and discovery. Students participate in a dynamic mix of private lessons, masterclasses, theory and musicianship sessions, ensemble rehearsals, and guided practice time, all led by passionate faculty and guest artists.

Interactive sessions explore topics such as music from around the world, performance confidence, practice strategies, stress management, and the art of listening like a musician — helping students grow both technically and personally.

By week’s end, students take the stage in Souers Recital Hall for final performances showcasing their growth. Each musician performs either solo or in a small ensemble, depending on their instrument and interests.
